Rajiv Gandhi assassination case convict Nalini attempted suicide, says lawyer

A convict in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, Nalini Sriharan, tried to end her life inside the Vellore Special Prison, her lawyer said. However the police say that she only threatened to commit suicide. Nalini has been in prison for more than 28 years. Reports say some inmates complained against Nalini after which she was questioned by jail authorities.
