Sambhavna Seth reveals heartbreaking miscarriage due to doctor’s negligence; says ‘Main zeher leke ghum rahi thi’

Actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Sambhavna Seth opened up in a podcast with Hindi Rush about her recent miscarriage, attributing the devastating loss to medical negligence.The actress candidly shared the physical and emotional toll her fertility journey has taken on her, including multipleIVF failures and severe health issues."I was facing a lot of health issues — problems in my ear, my leg, and arthritis — all stress-related," Sambhavna explained. "We tend to ignore these signs, thinking everything is fine, but age reminds you otherwise." She shared how anxiety medications led to weight gain, creating a cycle of emotional and physical stress. “I would exercise and diet, lose weight, but then something would mess it up again.”The turning point came after the loss of her beloved pet, Coco. “After Coco passed away, I had to be hospitalized. My BP dropped. Then again, back to medicines,” she said. Amidst these challenges, Sambhavna experienced a brief period of happiness. “I had a miscarriage in December. Before that, we had seen three happy months. My birthday was on the 12th, and the scan was scheduled around the 18th or 19th. We had even done a pregnancy announcement photo shoot.”However, her joy turned to despair when she learned at her third scan that the baby had already passed away 15 days earlier. “For 15 days, main zeher leke ghum rahi thi. Anything could have happened to me,” she said. She described the deep betrayal of being misdiagnosed by her doctor, who brushed off her back pain as arthritis. “I was feeling back pain and complained to Avinash. The doctor said it’s arthritis. I know what is arthritis pain.The doctor told me to consult my R/A doctor. And imagine, when I told my pain signs to my R/A doctor, she said it is a sign of miscarriage,” she emphasized.Sambhavna painfully revealed, “There’s a genetic testing that’s supposed to be done before embryo transfer. They didn’t do that. The embryo was genetically abnormal.” The final blow came when the doctor casually remarked, “You already have so many issues. It’s unfortunate.”With a heavy heart, Sambhavna, who has been married to Avinash Dwivedi, concluded, “You spend in lakhs, but your heart breaks in crores. And only the husband-wife go through the pain.”
