“He’s under the weather”- Dodgers’ Dave Roberts opens up about Blake Snell’s injury update

The Los Angeles Dodgers face challenges as pitcher Blake Snell lands on the injured list before he could contribute significantly. This setback compounds existing injury woes, including Tommy Edman's ankle issue and Teoscar Hernandez's thigh injury.

For the Los Angeles Dodgers, having a solid team that includes Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Roki Sasaki, and others was a big deal. Having Blake Snell, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, was also a big deal. However, things haven’t gone as planned, and the Dodgers are left in a difficult spot now.

Blake Snell pulls through before he got hurt

While Blake Snell managed to pitch in two games before he got hurt, he is now going on the injured list. While Dodgers’ scores look pretty much good, Snell’s injury will create a setback, even as he hasn’t been able to help much so far this season.
As per Orange County Register, Team manager Dave Roberts informed the media that Snell has been “under the weather.” He said that left-hander Blake Snell was feeling ‘under the weather’ and wasn’t at the stadium on Tuesday. Further, he said:“Snell has been on the IL with a shoulder injury and hasn’t pitched since April 2 but he was expected to start a throwing program during this trip.”Now that Blake Snell is still sick, and won’t be available to pitch, the Dodgers are already dealing with their player Tommy Edman, who is having a tough time healing from his ankle injury. Recently, Teoscar Hernandez hurt his thigh and will miss weeks. The Dodgers are a strong team, but too many injuries could cause problems.

Team Dodgers manages to play well but loses to Miami Marlins

Given that the Los Angeles Dodgers have terribly lost a close game to the Miami Marlins 5-4 in 10 innings on Tuesday. It has been well noted that Tony Gonsolin pitched well early, but retired after first six batters and striking out three. Meanwhile, Andy Pages also managed to hit a double and scored on Freddie Freeman’s single in the first inning. Shohei Ohtani tied the game with a home run, and Freddie Freeman hit another homer to give the Dodgers the lead. Still, the Marlins came back to win. Well, it is terrific because Shohei Ohtani now has 10 home runs and 10 stolen bases this season. Also Read: “Looks Like He’s Having Fun”- Fans Cheer For Shohei Ohtani As He Is On His Way To Create MLB History Year After Year
