RuneScape Dragonwilds has become an instant hit after shadowsropping on April 15 on Steam. Set in the same universe as RuneScape 3 and the classic RuneScape, the recently released title is a huge treat for the OG fans. This game also follows the similar mechanisms and skill trees like its predecessor, but the fun fact is that this game is a survival co-op title.
As the game has appeared out of nowhere, players must be finding it pretty hard to cope up with all the norms in the game, like finding precious gems like Opals. That is why this guide will help you finding that.
RuneScape Dragonwilds: How to find Opal
DAY 1 First Look at RUNESCAPE'S New Survival Game... Runescape Dragonwilds Gameplay
In RuneScape Dragonwilds, you will embark upon a journey of exploring the continent of Ashenfall by surviving and finding resources throughout the ruins to fight against the Dragon Queen. Opal is one of those resources which is quite essential in your journey. However, have already claimed that finding rare gems like Jade, Red Topaz, Sapphire, and many more is actually pretty difficult.
So, how to find Opal? Finding this precious gem is not that really hard as compared to its other contemporaries. All you need to do is mine Tin or Copper in order to get Opal. However, keep in mind that finding this gemstone will take a lot of patience and perseverance as the spawn rate of the item is pretty low. Although, as it’s a co-op title, mining a lot of Tin/Copper with your friends won’t be a big task.
It’s not a proven method yet, but using the Rocksplosion spell might increase your chances of getting the Opal gem. With this spell, you can blast off stone boulders at once in exchange of just 15 Earth Runes and 5 five Fire Runes. At least, it’s a lot better than mining with your hands.
There is also a skill called Gem Prospector, which might fancy your chances of getting an Opal. However, for that, you need to ensure that your skill tree reaches level 16.
That’s so far we know about finding Opal in RuneScape Dragonwilds. Don’t forget to check this guide regularly as we will keep updating with more information about finding this precious gem.
