Priyanka Chopra Jonas is reportedly ready to make a long-awaited return to Indian films. Fans are eager to see the global star back, as rumours are stirring the internet about her role in a Tollywood movie with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu. Now, reports suggest that she has chosen SSMB29 over Atlee’s new project with Allu Arjun.
There were reports that Priyanka had been in talks for the Allu Arjun-Atlee collaboration, popularly tagged as “A6” on social media. However, sources close to the development have now shed light on the real story — and it appears she has opted for Rajamouli’s much-anticipated project instead.
According to Hindustan Times, contrary to claims that she was never in the running for Atlee’s film, fresh insights reveal that the offer was indeed on the table. However, Priyanka reportedly passed on the opportunity, citing creative differences and a lack of excitement about the script. Meanwhile, the actress was also being considered for another Atlee film that would have featured Salman Khan, but that plan has since been shelved.

Priyanka has aligned herself with Rajamouli’s upcoming venture starring Mahesh Babu — a project already making waves even before going on floors.
Recent pictures of PeeCee, Mahesh Babu, and Rajamouli during the filming of SSMB29 in Odisha went viral on the internet, amid growing reports about her role in the movie. Director Rajamouli was also visited by Pottangi MLA Ramachandra Kadam, who presented him with locally crafted millet-based products as a gesture of goodwill.
Priyanka was recently spotted in New York, showing support for her husband Nick Jonas during the premiere of his musical The Last Five Years.
