Amrit Mann, Jazzy B, Nisha Bano, and other Punjabi stars come in support of the farmers’ protest

The government of India passed three legislations that aim at providing a barrier-free trade for farmers produce outside notified grain markets. Further, with these ordinances, farmers can have a farming agreement with private players before the production. However, the farmers are not in favor of the ordinances, as they believe it will phase out the MSP and the traditional grain market system.At the same time, it will lead to a huge loss for small and marginal farmers.
Therefore, the farmers are protesting against the new measures, and their voices are being backed by Punjabi artists. Earlier also a number of Punjabi singers and actors came in support of the farmers, and now again standing by them. From Nisha Bano to Amrit Mann and many more have shared the farmers’ poster that reads - “Mai virodh karda haan kheti Sudhaar kaale kanoon da” on the social media handles.

Amrit Maan while sharing the poster wrote - “We support our Farmers✊🏾...jai jwaan jai kisaan de naahre nu haqeeqat vich laagu kado karngiya sarkaara??”

Singer Rajvir Jawandha too shared the poster.

While Sharry Maan wrote - “Yesss i am against it...support kro kisaan union nu 🙏🙏”

Jazzy B also shared his thoughts - “ਬਚਪਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਸਾਂ ਕਿ ਏਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਲ ਹੈ , ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ , ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਆੜ੍ਹਤੀਏ ਸੱਭ ਇੱਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਨੇ , ਮਾਲਿਕ ਮਿਹਨਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਪਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਮਤਭੇਦ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਏਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਡੋਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਝੇ ਰਹਿਣ 🙏”
