In fact, I was being flooded with offers but nothing meaty enough. I was busy with modelling. Then, I thought of taking a break in Kolkata. Likewise, I updated my status message to ���������In town��������� on a social networking site. Not long after, Shamaun Ahmed, a fellow model called up to say that I consider this project. They were in dearth of a heroine. Lo and behold, the film was soon mine,��������� Bidita gives a lowdown of how things fell into place.
She loved the character of Neha in the film. ���������She���������s a supermodel, dignified, full of attitude and quite reserved when it comes to interacting with others. The film is a suspense thriller with a performance-oriented role. And this will be another first for me,��������� Bidita reveals.
Well, the firsts don���������t stop at Bidita alone. It goes on to the director too, whose name will go as Atanu Kumar on the credit roll, this film onwards. ���������I was earlier known as Atanu Bose. But I did numerology and changed it to Kumar. I���������m told this will reap benefits,��������� fills in the director, who, as of now, intends to call his film ���������Jal���������. ���������I believe there is some other project by a similar name. We might change the name of our project, which, also stars Mrinal Mukherjee, Biplab Chatterjee, Pulokita, Rana Mitra and others,��������� adds Atanu, whose next will be called ���������Girlfriend.com���������.
The story takes off from a reality show, where seven names are selected. ���������They will be taken to a place. But while on sea, the participants are told that there has been a technical snag in the launch. They are asked to get off on an island. Soon they realize that they have been deserted there. The group stumbles upon a bungalow and starts staying there only to find that one member of their group is being murdered,��������� Atanu gives a peek into the storyline.
As to why he settled for Bidita, the film-maker opines, ���������She isn���������t a familiar face and suits the role to the T.���������
