Ganja racket busted, 9 held

Vijayawada: Chirala rural police busted a ganja racket and arrested nine peddlers. Cops seized around 24 kg of ganja worth 2.35 lakh from their possession. The arrested were M Jeevan Kumar (35), D Vijay Kumar (32), V Ajay (21), Kota Sriramulu (26), P Balaswamy (24), M Seshuma Swamy (26), B Sivashankar (41), Kashi Sai Ishwara Teja (28), and Karreddula Praveen Kumar (28).According to police, on receipt of credible information about ganja peddling near Kavurivaripalem village, police rushed to the spot and arrested Jeevan Kumar, Vijay Kumar, and Sunil, who are all ganja peddlers.
