Cracker explosion at Balaji transporters in AP's Kakinada; 4 injured

NEW DELHI: A cracker explosion at Jai Balaji Transporters in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada left four people injured on Monday morning.
The explosion happened during the unloading of goods by workers at the transport facility.
Officials reported that the blast occurred when workers accidentally dropped one of the bundles containing small crackers that had been transported from Hyderabad.
The sudden explosion created fear amongst the workers, prompting them to flee to safety.
The affected workers received immediate medical attention and were transported to the Kakinada Government General Hospital (GGH).
Kakinada District Superintendent of Police (SP) Bindu Madhav provided details about the incident, stating: "A crackers explosion took place in the morning at Jai Balaji Transporters when workers were unloading the parcel. Due to the impact, the crackers exploded, injuring four people."
Law enforcement officials have confiscated two additional bags of crackers and begun their enquiry into the matter.
