Vijayawada: The high court granted conditional bail to Kamepalli Tulsibabu, an accused in the case related to the alleged torture of former MP and assembly deputy speaker Raghuramakrishna Raju in CID custody. Tulsibabu was directed to cooperate with the investigation, attend hearings as required by the investigating officer, and refrain from organising public rallies. Justice T Mallikharjuna Rao delivered the verdict. Tulsibabu, who was arrested by the Guntur Nagarampalem police, moved the high court seeking bail, arguing that there was no direct evidence linking him to the alleged torture. He also stated that the then CID additional SP, Vijaypal, was already released on bail.
