Vadodara: Posters of Pakistani flag with ‘Pakistan Murdabad' printed on them were spotted on the road near Narhari Hospital in Fatehgunj area of the city on Saturday morning. Police rushed to the spot upon learning about the flags and removed them.
Several vehicles were passing over the flags on the road leading to Karelibaug from Narhari Hospital and some commuters spotted the flags. Personnel from Sayajigunj police station rushed to the spot.
Sources said that only two posters were pasted on the road by unidentified persons, and these were removed by police. Police checked CCTV footages in the area but could not find anything that could lead them to the persons responsible for the act.
Earlier this week, similar posters were pasted on the road in Karelibaug area. An activist informed police at that time, and police rushed to the spot to remove the flags. Sources said that even at that time, those responsible for the act could not be identified.
