Vadodara: From novices to professionals, from a four-year-old to an 86-year-old dancer, from dance troupes to special kids and international performers – more than 150 artists, including established dancers, will perform in the city on Tuesday evening to celebrate International Dance Day.
City-based organisations have come together for the mega event to celebrate "dance as the mother of all arts".
"Anjali Memorial Committee, along with all my students – Mahesh Pandya, Meena Barot Dodeja, and Divya Patel, who run their own art and cultural institutes, are organising this International Dance Day celebration at the amphitheatre, Kamatibaug," said prominent danseuse Prof Parul Shah.
"More than 25 solos and groups with over 150 dance professionals and novices of all genres, including classical, folk, and creative, will share their love for dance," she said.
