Short films ‘Neha Ente Koottukaari’ and ‘Moosha’ have won top honours in the first Bharat PJ Antony Memorial Short Film Festival held in Thrissur recently.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Short films ‘Neha Ente Koottukaari’ and ‘Moosha’ have won top honours in the first Bharat PJ Antony Memorial Short Film Festival held in Thrissur recently.
The films were scripted and directed by K Swaminathan, a teacher at Goverment High School, Kalady in Thiruvananthapuram.
‘Neha Ente Koottukaari’ has also bagged four awards, including the best film award, in State Educational Film Festival earlier.

‘Moosha’ bagged the award for best script. Both movies were produced by the South Urban Resource Centre.
Akhil Raj, a student of Valiyathura St Antony’s School, received the award for best child artist.
‘Neha Ente Koottukari’ was selected as the second best short film. Prakash Rana, a native of Aruvikkara, bagged the award for best editor.
Director Priyanandanan and actor Shivaji Guruvayoor gave away the awards in the valedictory function.
