Plaint filed against Ranchi MLA

Ranchi: Former ward councillor Javed Akhtar filed a police complaint against Ranchi MLA CP Singh for allegedly making derogatory remarks against a community during an interview.
Akhtar said, "MLA Singh's statement has deeply hurt community feelings. His controversial and indecent comments could potentially trigger riots in society. I urge the police to file an FIR and take appropriate legal action."
Bariyatu police station in-charge Manoj Kumar said investigations into the allegations are underway but no FIR has been registered yet. TNN
MLA Singh said, "Everyone has the right to file complaints, and I will address these allegations in court. People interpret things differently based on their perception and understanding. I will explain my intended meaning behind the statement to the complainant."
