Kamble and Raichur got into a fight at Pratap Chowk in Pimprigaon on Tuesday night. Kamble hit Raichur on his head with a motorcycle key. Their friends intervened and stopped the fight, said Vidhate.
Raichur, however, decided to take revenge. On Wednesday night, Raichur and Pardhe found Kamble alone and attacked him with sharp weapons. Kamble received major blows on his face, head and hands and died on the spot.
Raichur and Pardhe had switched off their cellphones. "We got a tip-off that the duo was in Ahmednagar district. A Pimpri police team comprising sub-inspector Harichandra Kadam, Shakir Jinedi and Pandurang Jadhav rushed and nabbed them from Aarangaon village in the district," Vidhate said.
