PUNE: Sahyadri Hospitals, one of the hospital chains in Maharashtra, has launched Sahyadri Speciality Hospital on May 13.
The hospital located at Shastrinagar, Ahmednagar Road is a 125 bed multi-specialty hospital. The hospital was inaugurated by actor Deven Verma.
“Sahyadri aims to make healthcare available, accessible and accountable to the community at large. We have launched our new unit on Ahmednagar Road and hope we will provide same quality of service to our patients,” said senior neurosurgeon Charudutt Apte chairman and managing director, Sahyadri Hospitals.
The new unit is spread on 1,00,000 square feet area having 150 beds, luxury rooms and general ward with other facilities. The hospital has eight paediatrician, six neurologists, retrieval van, laparoscopy, CT scan unit, MRI scan, paediatric emergency van among others. This hospital will especially cater to people residing on Ahmednagar road from Yerawada to Ranjangaon.
The hospital also has state-of-the-art cath lab, operation theatres, in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) unit, mammography, well equipped neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), intensive care unit (ICU) and critical care unit (CCU), haemodialysis unit and path labs, a statement issued by the hospital said.
