Pune: A four-day music festival titled SwaraZankar, organized by the Violin Academy, would be held from January 5 to 8 at Pandit Farms on DP Road. It will begin at 5pm and will feature stalwarts from Indian classical music.
Kick-starting the musical extravaganza is a performance by vocalist Meeta Pandit, an exponent of Gwalior Gharana, followed by santoor player
Rahul Sharma, who is the son and disciple of Pandit Shivkumar Sharma.
National award winning vocalist Rahul Deshpande will also be presenting his show “Youtube collectives”, a special program on light music.
Other performances include vocalist Nabanita Chowdhary, trio Selvaganesh, Pandit Atulkumar Upadhye and Ustad Shahid Parvez, and vocalist
Sanjeev Abhyankar. It will conclude with a ghazal recital by Hariharan.
