Pondicherry University allows UG, diploma courses in Lakshadweep

Pondicherry University has given its nod to Lakshadweep to offer two undergraduate vocational courses and four one-year diploma courses from the academic year 2021-22 in two colleges proposed by the territorial administration.
Lakshadweep will offer BSc courses in tourism and service industry and software development and a one-year diploma course in catering and hospitality at a college proposed at Kadmat Island.
The administration will offer diploma courses in marine engineering, electrical and electronics and mechanical in a college at Minicoy. All courses have 30 seats each.
