Police may arrest Vijay Krishna and son

PATNA: Patna police on Sunday indicated that they might take into custody former MP and JD(U) leader Vijay Krishna and his son Guddu in connection with the disappearance of a contractor and JD(U) leader Satyendra Kumar Singh.
Police said that five persons had given statement under section 164 of the CrPc. On the basis of these statements, the involvement of Vijay Krishna's son Guddu in the crime could not be ruled out said police.
"We are working on some more clues to nab the culprits including Guddu and Vijay Krishna," senior police officials said, adding that they were not protecting any privileged persons in the Satyendra missing case.They further disclosed that police had got some vital clue on Sunday.
The investigating team is working on the clue. "We will get back to you once we establish the information given to us," a senior police official told TOI on Sunday evening.
Sources said that police were conducting raids at different places in the state capital and its outskirts to locate the father-son duo.
