GAYA: In a bizarre incident that took place late on Thursday night, a CISF constable deputed at Dhanbad, was killed by one of his colleagues — a resident of New Colony under the Delha police station area of Gaya town. The deceased CISF jawan has been identified as Ashok singh, resident of Konch police station area of Gaya district. According to stories doing the rounds, both the CISF men arrived from Dhanbad together.
As it was late in the night, Ashok Singh could not leave for his native village in the Konch police station area and he stayed at fellow constable Satyendra Sharma's Delha (Gaya) residence. The two had drinks together.
Subsequently, alcohol got the better of Ashok Singh and he allegedly started misbehaving with the wife and daughter of his colleague Satyendra Sharma. An apparently infuriated Satyendra Sharma allegedly killed his alchoholic colleague and dumped the body a few metres away from his home under darkness. Confirming the CISF jawan's killing, Gaya SP Amit Jain said that the police have recovered the blood-stained clothes and pillow from the residence of Satyendra Sharma. The CISF constable, accused of killing his wayward colleague, is absconding, said Jain. A murder case has been lodged against the alleged assailant on the basis of the statement made by the slain constable's brother, said Jain.
