Nagpur: Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Nagpur, hosted the
Indian Air Force (IAF) induction oublicity exhibition vehicle (IPEV) road drive on Feb 25. The prestigious event brought together students, faculty, and esteemed officers from the IAF, offering a unique opportunity to explore career prospects, technological advancements, and life in the IAF. The event was graced by Wg Cdr RN Kaushik, Wg Cdr Ashish Chandan, and Sqn Ldr Nikunj Patel, who interacted with students, shared their experiences, and provided insights into the thrilling and challenging world of the IAF.
The distinguished officers guided students on career paths, training programmes, and the selection process for various IAF branches. The IPEV featured interactive displays, flight simulators, and AI-driven defense technology, giving students a hands-on experience of modern military advancements. Also comprehensive insights into the National Defence Academy (NDA), Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT), and Technical Entry Schemes were provided to students aspiring for a future in the IAF. An exhibition of Advanced IAF Technology – models of fighter jets, helicopters, missiles, and radar systems were showcased, highlighting the cutting-edge technology used by the IAF.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Nitin Rakesh, director of SIT Nagpur, emphasised the importance of such interactions in inspiring young minds. He stated, "The IAF IPEV road drive is a golden opportunity for students to witness firsthand the technological brilliance and dedication of the IAF. We are honoured to host the IAF team and provide our students with this invaluable experience." The event was made successful with the dedicated efforts of Pratik, who played a crucial role in coordinating and ensuring smooth execution.
