120 screened at Leena Kishor Mamidwar Institute’s oral health camp

120 screened at Leena Kishor Mamidwar Institute’s oral health camp
Chandrapur: An oral health screening camp was recently organised at Leena Kishor Mamidwar Institute of Management Studies and Research, Chandrapur, to mark World Oral Health Day.
The initiative, held under the guidance of civil surgeon Dr Mahadev Chinchole and led by dental surgeon Dr Sandeep Pipare, was based on the theme ‘A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind'. Around 120 individuals, including 80 students and 40 teaching and non-teaching staff, underwent oral health check-ups. Experts also provided guidance on dental hygiene practices.
The event saw the presence of former Union minister Hansraj Ahir, Sarvodaya Shikshan Mandal president Arvind Poreddiwad, principal Dr Jayesh Chakravarty, and sarpanch Narule. Dr Pipare, Dr Sonam Bhore, and Dr Prajakta Khedkar conducted the check-ups, while Dr Nilesh Shastrakar demonstrated correct brushing techniques.
