Sundar Raj is new Mys city DCP
Mysuru: Mysuru city got a new deputy commissioner of police (crime and traffic) in Sundar Raj, who is currently serving as additional superintendent of police, Kodagu district. Incumbent S Janhavi has been transferred. Sundar Raj, a 1994 batch PSI, has 30 years of work experience and worked in Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kodagu, and Chamarajanagar. He was promoted to the rank of deputy superintendent of police in 2013 and since then worked in the Internal Security Division, Hunsur subdivision, and Madikeri sub-division. Sundar Raj served as additional superintendent of police in Chamarajangar and Kodagu for two years before he was posted to Mysuru as DCP. The officer is likely to take charge next week.
