'Hubby killed Priya over extra-marital affair'

LUDHIANA: The mysterious disappearance of Priya Sharma from New Shimalpuri area turned out to be a case of murder with police arresting her husband, Kamaldeep Singh for killing his wife, on Monday.
Though cops are yet to recover her body, they nabbed Priya's husband who confessed to have killed his wife following a discord due to his affair with another woman.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (North) Sachin Gupta said, "We had no clue in the case except the last location of Priya's mobile which was from near the house of her in-laws.We kept questioning the in-laws' family and finally got some clues. On sustained interrogation, her husband confessed to have strangled Priya. He also disclosed that after killing Priya, he along with his parents threw the dead body into Sidhwan canal."
Gupta said that Kamaldeep hatcheda conspiracy to kill Priya as he wanted to live with the woman he was having an affair. On February 13 mid-night, 32-year-old Priya Sharma had gone missing.
