Speed Chargers pip Fairway Tigers

Lucknow: Speed Chargers defeated Fairway Tigers 3-2 in a closely contested match on the seventh day of the Lucknow Golf League 2025 at Lucknow Golf Club on Sunday. Sushant Mishra and Team Captain Ajay Chauhan of Speed Chargers delivered impressive performances, securing a 5-4 victory against JP Singh Siyal and Gautam Chopra of Fairway Tigers. CA Nitin Khanna and Sandeep Narayan also won 2-0 against Virendra Kumar Srivastava and Rohan Banbi.
In the final match of the day, Rajiv Srivastava and Sandeep Agarwal of Fairway Tigers drew with Adi Jain and Aditya Pratap Singh of Speed Chargers.
In other matches, GS Express defeated Amazing Origins 4-1, while Ramswaroop Tigers' encounter with Mulligators ended in a 2.5-2.5 tie. Awadhesh Pratap Singh and KK Srivastava of GS Express defeated Dr Irshad Ali and Dr Ashok Sharma of Amazing Origins 4-2 in their Veteran category match. Ajay Katyal and Sanjeev Kumar of GS Express sealed the team's victory by defeating Raghav Jaggi and Neeraj Gupta. Amazing Origins secured their only win when Brig. Ravi Kapoor and Sanjeev Jagat Tandon overcame Ajay Agarwal and Sudhakar Rastogi.
