No retakes in our shooting: Abhinav Bindra

After receiving ‘Mentor of the Year award' from actors Suniel Shetty and Amit Sadh, when Olympic athlete and shooter Abhinav Bindra was asked that though the word ‘shooting' was common among them, how film shooting was different from the sport, Bindra replied, "In film shooting, one gets retakes, but in shooting tournaments, there are no retakes." Suniel Shetty said, "Our performance depends on critics and people. Standing among such legendary sportspersons still gives me goosebumps." Sadh said that he "salutes all sportspersons as they are the ones who teach us to be our own heroes". "For me, acting is also a sport," he said.
BADMINTON FOR FUN
It was a treat to watch badminton players Saina Nehwal and Anmol Kharb in action on the TOISA stage. Anmol, who won gold medal at the Asia Team Championships, was conferred the Badminton Player of the Year award by Saina and actor Faisal Malik. While Saina and Anmol played badminton on stage to keep energy level high, actors Aparshakti Khurana and Faisal Malik joined hands to become the ‘net'. The two badminton stars were dressed in Indian formal attire.
