Contests galore in celebration of LU’s 104th foundation day

Lucknow: As part of the 104th Foundation Day celebrations of the Lucknow University, department of commerce organised a singing and painting competition on Thursday.
The singing competition saw Shreya Gupta clinch first place, with Hansika Gupta, Priyanshu and Agraim Srivastava securing second and third positions jointly.
In the painting competition, Shreya Kumari emerged winner, followed by Abhijeet Verma and Ekta Jain.
Department of Sanskrit and Prakrit languages hosted debate competition on Thursday centered on the theme Indian Knowledge Tradition. Over 25 students participated, discussing the rich heritage of Indian scholarly contributions.
The Institute of Management Sciences also organised cricket and table tennis tournaments.
