Criminal brothers, out on bail, held for extortion

Kolhapur: Two MCOCA accused out on bail were arrested again by Kolhapur police for an alleged extortion attempt.
Brothers Avinash Mane (30) and Vishal Mane (25) both have a history of serious crime and are residents of Rajarampuri area. A few weeks ago, they secured bail in a case and were out.
Police officials claimed the two brothers then threatened a man from Gokul Shirgaon in an attempt to extort money from him. The duo then fled to Chakan in Pune after a case was registered in the incident. A police team was deployed from here to Pune for the brothers' arrest.
