Man dies of cardiac arrest while dancing at wedding

Kanpur: A tragic incident occurred when a Delhi resident collapsed and died while dancing at the DJ stage during his friend's wedding celebration in Unnao on Friday.
The 25-year-old Anuj Kumar from Madhu Vihar, Dwarka Sector-3, New Delhi, travelled with three friends on Friday morning to join the wedding festivities of his friend Ankit in Daudpur, Hasanganj Kotwali. The wedding procession arrived at Guruprasad's residence in Niyotni town on Friday evening.
While dancing on the DJ stage with other guests, Anuj suddenly fell. Initially, attendees assumed it was part of his dance routine. However, when he remained on the ground, his friends grew concerned and attempted to assist him. Unable to speak or stand, Anuj was swiftly transported to the community health centre, where medical staff pronounced him dead.
The post-mortem examination revealed cardiac arrest as the cause of death. Anuj, an MA student and the younger of two siblings, left his elder brother Alok and family devastated. Inspector Hasanganj Kotwali, Sandeep Shukla, said that the young man's death resulted from a heart attack while dancing at the celebration. tnn
