Telangana govt forms committee of 3 IAS officers to investigate Bhoodan land irregularities
Hyderabad: The Telangana govt has appointed a three-member committee of IAS officers to look into the alleged irregularities in the Bhoodan land case involving over 100 acres in Nagaram village in Ranga Reddy district.
The state govt informed a division bench of acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul and Justice Renuka Yara of the Telangana high court that the committee will look into the matter within three weeks.

The committee includes Navin Mittal, principal secretary, revenue, Raghunandan Rao, secretary, agriculture and cooperation department, and Shashanka, commissioner, state flagship projects.
The bench was hearing a petition alleging that around 50 acres of land belonging to the Bhoodan Yagna Board had been transferred to private parties and the pattadar passbooks had also been issued to the buyers by the Ranga Reddy district collectorate in 2021, even though the said land was in the prohibited list.
