Chakkarpur fire: One arrested

GURGAON: The Gurgaon police have arrested one person for negligence in the Chakkarpur jhuggi fire incident, which left two children dead and gutted 70 hutments on Monday.
The arrested has been identified as Tarun Kumar, a resident of Chakkarpur village, who was employeed as a manager by the land owner Chandan Singh. Kumar was responsible for collecting rent from the labourers.
While the police have registered a case against both the owner and Kumar, Singh is still at large.
