PANAJI: Following the controversy surrounding negative portrayal of Goa in the Abhishek Bachchan-Bipasha Basu starrer Dum Maro Dum, the ESG has revised its criteria for issuing filming permissions. A declaration is now being obtained from the producers of the film pledging that Goa will not be portrayed in negative light.
Speaking to TOI, Manoj Srivastava, CEO of ESG, said "We are giving our facilities to the producers.

To avoid breach of faith, we take a declaration from the film producers."
"It is part of the understanding between the ESG and filmmakers, and we hope there is no breach of trust," he added.
