NEW DELHI: In a suspected case of misappropriation of bank money, four employees of a security agency had reported that a bag containing Rs 70 lakh was stolen from their van in Model Town area on Tuesday evening while they were having their lunch.
The police, suspecting the complaint to be fake, had detained all the four persons who were inside the van and were questioning them.

The four have been identified as Rajesh, Raj Kumar, Harish Chander and driver Sanjeev Kumar by the police.
The police said that the four might be involved in the theft as van's locks were not tampered with or broken.
"The four told us that near GT Karnal Road, they had parked their van to have lunch. Later, they noticed that a bag containing Rs 70 lakh was missing from the van after which they filed a complaint," said a senior police officer. The police said the four work for Security Trans India Private Limited.
