Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls on Wednesday, winning 134 seats in the 250-seat civic body, the party lost all three wards in its minister
Satyendar Jain's constituency- Shakur Basti.

Delhi MCD Election Results Live UpdatesThe three wards- Saraswati Vihar, Paschim Vihar and Rani Bagh, were won by BJP. Saraswati Vihar (58) ward was won by Sikha Bhardwaj by a margin of 3,150 votes against Urmila Gupta of AAP.

BJP defeated Shalu Duggal of AAP by a margin of 2,044 votes in Paschim Vihar (59) ward. BJP's Jyoti Aggarwal clinched Rani Bagh (60) by defeating Mithlesh Pathak by 1,387 votes.
Jain was arrested by the ED on May 30 this year in connection with a case linked to alleged hawala dealings. Now a minister without a portfolio in the Delhi government, Jain had held health and power portfolios before he was taken into custody by the ED.
The polling was held on December 4. In the first elections after reunification of civic bodies in the national capital witnessed just over 50 per cent voting.
