NEW DELHI: Delhi Police will file the Central Forensic Science Laboratory's (CFSL) report in the Atma Ram murder case by May 16. The investigating officer of the case appeared before additional sessions judge B B Chaudhary and told him the police were making ''sincere efforts to get the CFSL report as soon as possible''. Delhi Police had chargesheeted six accused, including the alleged main conspirator, Congress corporator Sharda Jain on November 23.
The police had charged Jain, her brother Raj Kumar, Pushpinder, Rajender and Nivarkar with murder, kidnapping, wrongful confinement, destruction of evidence and criminal conspiracy. The court has already taken cognizance of the offences. The police have cited 48 witnesses and 229 documents in support of the case.
