CHENNAI: Comedy traverses geographies. Delhi-based comedian
Vikramjit Singh will present the best of every state’s conflicts, relationships and stereotypes in a show ---Turban Legends -- in Chennai on November 26.
An engineer-turned comedian, Singh is known for his jabs on everything from gyms to Tinder and toilet etiquette.
For those of you who haven’t watched him yet, expect the unexpected.
Turban Legends, organised by Evam Tamasha, is a tribute to urban India, which Singh has traversed in length and breadth with his mouth open, amazed at the pace at which things happen.
In Singh’s own words, he’s thrown in a lot of stories from urban India, including dating, food, relationships and even his experiences with racism.
“People in Indian cities have a certain way of life, and the show in short will be about how it is constantly at odds with their previous generation,” he says.
‘Turban Legends’ will be performed at The Raintree, Anna Salai, at 8pm. Passes are available at bookmyshow.com.
