One dead, two hurt in K’jhar road accident

Keonjhar: A 22-year-old man was killed and two others were critically injured when their motorcycle collided with a concrete mixer on National Highway-520 near Jhadagaon chowk in Keonjhar district's Barbil.
The deceased has been identified as Mantu Kerketa, a resident of Bhadrasahi near Tonto. His companions, Ramu Munda and Karan Singh Munda, both 22, sustained severe injuries in the accident.
The incident occurred when the three young men were traveling towards Bhadrasahi area. Following initial treatment at Barbil community health centre, the injured were transferred to Keonjhar district headquarters hospital, where doctors describe their condition as critical.
Barbil police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the accident. They coordinated the rescue operation and are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the collision.
