BHUBANESWAR: BJP workers on Saturday staged a protest at Ram Mandir square here against Pakistan foreign minister
Bilawal Bhutto's comments about Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.
Members of BJP youth wing burnt effigy of Bilawal Bhutto during the demonstration. They also shouted slogans like ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ and ‘Shame on Pakistan’ and dubbed the neighbouring country a factory of terrorists.
Odisha BJP’s youth wing president Irasis Acharya said they cannot tolerate any criticism of PM Narendra Modi.
“The Indian PM is working tirelessly for the development of the country and the world is praising his effort. This is not going down well with Pakistan and its politicians like Bhutto,” he added.
He said Pakistan is the epicentre of terrorism. It is sheltering terrorists and a breeding ground of terrorism. “Today both internal security and economy of the terrorist country have been collapsed. It cannot forget the 1971 humiliation till today and use abusive language against world leaders like Modi,” he added.
After India’s foreign minister S Jaishankar outlined the neighbouring country’s support for different terror groups at a United Nations Security Council meeting, Bhutto had made remarks against Modi and slammed Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS).
