Bhopal: Congress state president Jitu Patwari on Tuesday directly blamed CM Mohan Yadav for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state after an incident in Satna where a constable was shot at by miscreants inside a police station.
Taking to 'X', Patwari said, "In Jaitwara police station of Satna district, miscreants entered the police station and shot constable Prince Garg on the chest. @DrMohanYadav51, the law-and-order situation in Madhya Pradesh is worse than jungle raj. Now, policemen are not safe inside the police station. After the assault of policemen, now policemen are being fired upon."
The PCC chief said, "At a time when the law-and-order situation of the state has reached the bottom and the police are getting targeted by criminals, instead of getting justice for the police force, your govt is giving orders to bow down before representatives of power." He was referring to a recent order in which policemen have been directed to salute all MPs and MLAs.
"If you are not worried, getting the medal as the most unsuccessful home minister, then the people of MP are dependent on God's grace. Punitive action must be taken against those responsible for such a sad incident," Patwari added.
