BANGALORE: The world's youngest filmmaker has yet another feather in his cap. Bangalore lad Kishan SS, now 18, figures on Forbes magazine's 30 under 30, a list of the country's most talented young entrepreneurs from fields like business, art, design, e-commerce, finance, music, politics, sports, technology and entertainment. Sandalwood's actor-director is the youngest on the list.
"I was surprised when I got the call from Forbes. I feel honoured and privileged," said Kishan. "It is a morale-booster. I will work with renewed vigour for my next film, Care of Footpath - 2," said the youngster, who is one of the lead actors in the film and is also directing it. The prequel, C/o Footpath, was directed by Kishan when he was only 10, earning him the recognition as the world's youngest feature film director.
Forbes said cricketer Virat Kohli and actor
Deepika Padukone were not taken into consideration as the magazine was "looking for a spark, for a story that is still waiting to be told and, for the most part, only starting to unfold".
