BANGALORE: Medicos, engineering students, IIT alumni and IIM students will take out a rally on Saturday protesting the Centre's plan to increase reservation in higher education and police excesses in New Delhi and Mumbai. Students from the Bangalore Medical College distributed pamphlets outside shopping malls, movie theatres and college campuses on Friday urging the youth to participate in the march organised under the banner of Youth for Equality.
SMS messages ��� urging youths to fight for their rights ��� were sent to students and young professionals throughout the day. "This time we have permission from the city police. We are planning a peaceful march. We would be happy if more youth join us.We are knocking all doors and we have been welcome almost everywhere," said BMC student Anurag Arora, who is an organiser of the protest. The students would have support from Junior Doctor Association and IT professionals including those working at MNCs.
