Ahmedabad: About 99.65% of the students in the state cleared the ISC (Class 12) exams, the results of which were announced on Wednesday by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Girls performed better than boys, registering a pass percentage of 99.9% compared to 99.47% for boys. For the ISC Class 12 exams, 2,294 students — 1,313 boys and 981 girls — from 28 schools appeared across the state.
In Ahmedabad city, Prisha Soni from J G International School topped with 99.6% in the science stream. Yashvi Mehta, with 95.4%, and Gurvi Patel, with 97.6%, emerged as toppers in the commerce and humanities streams, respectively.
At Anand Niketan (Satellite), Mahie Shah emerged as a topper in the science stream by securing 97.75%. Anushka Agarwal was the commerce topper with 99%, and Tanishka Singhal topped humanities with 98.75%.
Priyanshi Jain (97.75%), Varun Duseja (96.75%), and Harshil Purohit (93%) emerged as toppers in the commerce, science, and humanities streams, respectively, at Jamnabai Narsee School.
Tanuj Gaudani scored 96.75% to top the science stream at Zydus School for Excellence. Anunay Gundecha emerged as the topper in the commerce stream with 98.50%, while Bhavika Jani secured the first position in humanities with 94.25%.
Apurva Jhunjhunwala topped in the science stream by scoring 97% at Lalji Mehrotra Lions School. Dhrumi Patel emerged as the commerce topper with a score of 94.5%.
At SGVP International School, Manya Patel topped the science stream with 88.5%, while Jay Patel secured the first spot in the commerce stream with 93.5%. By scoring 97%, Priyam Bhatt emerged as the topper at Seventh-Day Adventist. Kavya Saraf, with 94.2% marks, and Shruti Padia, with 94.8% marks, emerged as toppers in commerce and humanities, respectively.
Part II: In Class 10, girls outshine boys in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad: Girls performed better than boys in the ICSE (Class 10) exam, with a pass percentage of 99.63%, while boys had a pass percentage of 99.05%. The results, announced on Wednesday by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), brought smiles to many students. As many as 3,830 students appeared for the ICSE exam from 37 schools across the state and registered a pass percentage of 99.30%.
In the city, Zydus School of Excellence student Meghav Ladani emerged as the school topper, scoring 99.60%. Several students scored 100% marks in English, mathematics, Hindi, history and civics, geography, chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science.
At Anand Niketan (Satellite), 52% of students scored above 90%. Anant Sultania emerged as the school topper with 99.2%. Meanwhile, at Anand Niketan (Shilaj), Nandish Patel emerged as the school topper by scoring 98.77%.
With a score of 98.4%, Shaswati Patel emerged as the school topper at Jamnabai Narsee School. Of the 100 students, 61 secured a score above 90%. At J G International School, Dhaval Patel topped with a score of 96.6%. In New Tulip International School, Tanishka Jha topped with 97.6% marks.
At Lalji Mehrotra Lion School, out of 70 students, 24 students scored 90% or above. Reeva Patel was the school topper with 98.4%. Of the 154 students, Parv Sarda emerged as the school topper at SGVP International School with 97% marks. At the Seventh-Day Adventist, Aryan Saraf emerged as a topper, scoring 96.5% marks.
