Man, toddler son killed, 12 injured as tractor rams into auto in Agra

Agra: A man, 22, and his son, 1, lost their lives while 12 others were injured after a speeding tractor, loaded with potatoes, collided with the auto they were traveling in, near Arjunpur village in the Pinahat block of Agra, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place on Wednesday night when deceased Vishnu and his son Anuj were returning home to Kukthari village after attending a ritual event in Morena. Meanwhile, there was an outrage among villagers over the delayed arrival of the ambulance.
Pinhat station house officer Prempal Singh said, "After getting information, police sent all passengers to the community health centre, where Vishnu and his son Anuj were declared brought dead. A case under BNS section 106 (causing death by negligence) has been registered after a police complaint from the family. The tractor involved in the incident has been seized, and efforts are underway to arrest the driver. Further investigation is on, and appropriate action will be taken."
