In collaboration with SHIJA, Agartala Govt Medical College has successfully performed two kidney transplants, with more planned. The state aims to introduce bone marrow and liver transplants, attracting specialists and outside investment. Tripura's improved healthcare is drawing back doctors currently practicing elsewhere.
