Anushka Shetty’s action drama 'Khaleja,' originally released in 2010, is set for a grand re-release, and fans can revisit this cult classic on the big screen. Though the film didn’t initially meet box office expectations, it has since gained a strong fan following and appreciation.

About 'Khaleja'
The story of 'Khaleja' is about Raju, a fiery taxi driver from Hyderabad, who finds himself in the remote village of Pali while delivering insurance money. The village is plagued by a mysterious and deadly illness, and the locals believe in a prophecy about a savior who will protect them.
After surviving a violent attack by goons sent by the ruthless industrialist GK, Raju is mistaken for this prophesied hero. With the help of Siddha, the village head's assistant, Raju learns that GK is behind the pollution causing the illness, intending to clear the village to mine valuable minerals. When GK kills Siddha, Raju takes a stand to fight against the injustice.
