Ashika Ranganath to team up with V Ravichandran

Ashika Ranganath has become quite the busy bee in Sandalwood these days. Her latest project will be with none other than Crazy Star Ravichandran. Confirming the same, Ravichandran tells BT that Ashika is indeed on board his new film. “I will be directing it and it will go on floors in a month or so. I wanted someone with a cute face for the script and Ashika fit the bill,” he says.In keeping with the theme of his films, will his leading lady have a glamorous turnout in the film? “Indeed, she will be glam in the film and have a good character to play, too,” says the Crazy Star, adding, “I’m currently sporting a grey-bearded look for one of my projects, which I will get rid of for my directorial.” The actor-director says that he is also keen on having Ashika do a dance number in his film, Ravi. “If the dates work out, she will have a fantastic dance number in that film,” he says.
Meanwhile Ashika tells us, “Ravi sir had never met me, so, I went to meet him a few days ago. It’s humbling to interact with a legend like him. My dates are being matched to do the project,” she wraps up.
