Tired of too many ads?
Pop singer Katy Perry’s recent space journey has become a hot topic once again, but not for the reasons she might have hoped. After fast food chain Wendy’s made fun of her trip earlier, popular podcast host Joe Rogan has now added his own sarcastic take on the situation.
Perry recently joined five other women on a Blue Origin spaceflight. The brief mission, which lasted about 10 minutes, took the group to the edge of space aboard the Shepherd 31 rocket. The trip was celebrated by many as a step forward for women in space exploration. However, not everyone seemed impressed.
According to a report by Page Six, Joe Rogan used his podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience,' to poke fun at Perry's flight. On an episode that aired Saturday, he jokingly called her trip "very profound" and made it clear he wasn’t being entirely serious. With comedian Tim Dillon as his guest, Rogan continued to mock the pop star by saying that she now talks like a “guru” after her space adventure.
In a particularly sarcastic moment, Rogan said Perry brought a daisy with her on the flight, then joked that the flower was somehow an important part of her space discovery. His tone suggested he didn’t view the mission as a major scientific breakthrough and was more amused than impressed by the event.

This isn’t the first time Perry has been the target of online jokes since her return to Earth. Wendy’s, the popular fast-food chain known for its cheeky social media posts, had earlier commented on her return with a post that said, “Can we send her back?” That comment quickly went viral, with many people adding their own humorous responses.
Despite the trolling, Perry has not responded publicly to the comments. Her flight with Blue Origin was intended to celebrate female achievements and promote interest in space travel. Supporters of the mission praised the all-women crew and the message it sent about inclusion in the space industry.
Still, the public reaction has been mixed. While some admire Perry for being part of the journey, others, like Rogan and Wendy, have turned it into a moment for humor. Whether people view her mission as inspiring or silly, it has certainly kept Katy Perry in the spotlight—both on Earth and beyond.
