Nigeria: Lion kills zookeeper at Obafemi Awolowo University

A zoo keeper was attacked and killed by a lion at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. The zoo keeper has been identified as Olabode OlawuyiOlawuyi was attacked on February 19. The incident took place when he was trying to feed the lion. Other staff members tried to rescue him but to no avail. It is reportedly said that the zookeeper had raised the big cat since birth.
