On cam: King cobra stuck in fishnet while trying to swallow trapped rat snake

In a dramatic incident, a king cobra got stuck in fish-net, while trying to swallow a rat snake. There is neither anything new in a snake getting trapped in a fish net, nor a king cobra eating a rat snake. But, in a rare incident a 5-ft 7 inches long rat snake was trapped in a fish-net near a fish pond in Odisha. A 11-ft king cobra tried to have the trapped rat snake as a easy meal. But, while swallowing the rat snake, the king cobra got stuck in the net strings in which the rat snake was already entangled. A volunteer from a snake helpline arrived at the spot and took control of the king cobra whose head was already stuck in the net along with the head of the rat snake. The net was cut and the king cobra was taken out to safer place, with the half swallowed body of the rat snake. The strings from inside the mouth of the king cobra were cut. And finally the body of the rat snake was pulled out of the mouth of the king cobra.
