15 years for Bangaram: For the first time in his career, Pawan Kalyan did not have a female lead starring opposite him

Power Star Pawan Kalyan-starrer Bangaram completed 15 years on May 3. Pawan played the role of a reporter for the first time in the film, which didn’t live up to the expectations that fans had for it. The plot seemed to jump all over the place, and fans had so many different things to worry about throughout its runtime. This was a film whose trailer had us anxiously waiting for it to come out in theatres, but it left fans hanging as they wondered if it would ever end. Pawan was looking intense and the film released with a lot of promise. Though it started well initially, soon the story totally fell apart. Disappointment! While hopes were pinned high on the film, it fell flat in front of the audience, who had expected much more than what they got. Directed by Dharani, the film was criticised for its incoherent storyline, didn't mint the expected moolah. Because of the mixed reactions from critics and audiences, the box office collections of Bangaram dropped eventually. Pawan Kalyan too reportedly gave refunds to the movie's distributors. Also, for the first time in his career, the actor didn’t have a female lead starring opposite him. This was the main drawback of the movie.
